Before the creation of Amateur Standing in a galaxy far far away, there was a screamo band calledjanuary. It was made up from the exact same members as Amateur Standing, they playedone show in the bassists garage and then were never seen again...

YourHeartWasMyDemise.mp3This was the only song written for the Amateur Standing split that never saw the light of day, the lyrics in the chorus were 'your heart was my demise' which started as a joke but was too cold to get rid of.
Amateur Standing unreleased album track
AppleTree.mp3This album was meant to release around May of 2026 with ~10 tracks, and was intended to be the final release of the band. However that didn't happen, after the EP was released the drummer and guitarist went on to form c'est la vie ;)
